![]() I went to Denmark, pretty much, to see Karen Blixen's home. Apparently 'Out of Africa' showcases Dinesen's/Blixen's writing a lot better so I know I'm in for a treat. The writing was also infused with biblical language and as found her writing to be deep yet light. These stories definitely had a fairytale-like quality to them and they were very enjoyable not only were her descriptions of the Scandinavian region inviting, there was also a lot of wisdom to her words.
